I’ve not seen a revolution like this since the early 2000’s when Vallejo came along a made us all recognize that there were better paints out there than simply Citadel in miniatures painting.
Heck, for me personally, this even blows away the debut of washes by GW in early 2007 (Well mainly since I was already making my own washes I suppose, but those new washes were still a large deal don’t get me wrong)! So what the heck am I talking about? What’s really amazing that I’d to start with a build up like this? Well I will tell you- Airbrush paints, although not only any airbrush paints…amazing in a bottle airbrush paints.
You see airbrushing, is an excellent time saver is very good and all, but it’s a steep cost and A MASSIVE learning curve to start miniature painting service. Well that is mainly because of two things that are essential, an excellent airbrush set up costs at least as considerably as the physics of airbrushing itself, and the military you happen to be striving to paint.
Most acrylic paints are just not be airbrushed, and that’s the manner it’s. Certainly it is possible to cut them down with rubbing alcohols, Windex, and water, till your blue in the face (literally) but the truth of the situation is that is a hassle. Plus not believe it or whether you understand it, you are definitely going to be breathing in all that alcohol or ammonia, and it is bad for you at all.
It’s true that you can (and should) wear a mask when you airbrush, but then you still possess the dilemma of combining your paint only to get to the idea of airbrushing itself And that right there’s another problem altogether, as some airbrushes simply are not meant to shove the particles of acrylic paint period.
