- Oklahoma Department of Public Safety has a form to issue "DPS" numbers to all amateur radio operators who also fullfill an emergency communications role. Go to this link, download the form, copy your FCC license and mail it off and you will get a number that you can put on the back of your vehicle to identify you to DPS officers during emergencies.
