Christmas Parade and Santa

It's almost time for the Childrens Christmas Parade, December 2nd. Jerry will again be driving the Red Cross van, with Vance and myself driving our own trucks representing SOARESSS and SKYWARN. I don't have all the details, but I assume the route will be the same as last year. What is different...is this year, immediately following the parade, we will be setting up a remote station at Walmart, and allowing children to contact Santa via radio, and give him their Christmas lists. This should be alot of fun for everyone. Everyone wishing to participate contact either Renee, or Kevin and let them know in what capacity you can help out. We still need some strong young volunteers to carry the banner and pass out candy in the parade. And we will need people to man our remote station and talk to kids. There is plenty for everyone that wishes to assist in this years event. ~B~ UPDATE: Apparently, because of other commitments, Walmart will not be able to accomadate our "QSO with Santa" event Saturday. Sorry kids.
