Our Club Is In Print, Once Again

I received the editors proof of my latest article today. It is slated for Septembers' "Emergency Communications" issue of QST magazine. It is approximately 3 pages of different emergency scenarios that our club has worked on, or contributed to. It is basically excerpts from more lengthy stories I have written. All are based on factual events. Also included are comments from fellow members regarding various topics concerning todays amateur radio operators in emergency mode. The original submittal was 9 full pages that they whittled down to about 2000 words, so not all materials that I submitted will be included in the article. In other words, they didn't use everyones comments. But that was totally at the descretion of the managing editor of QST. The club received some good print, and I think everyone will be pleasantly surprized. ~B~
