Red Cross Banquet

And yet another delicious spectacle at the Red Cross on the evening of the 28th of June. Tonight was the annual Red Cross Banquet at Red Cross Headquarters in Ardmore. The feast was catered by Cattle Rustlers, with many volunteers bringing dishes from home to compliment the buffet. Along with the incredible delectables, there were awards of recognition for deserving members and businesses. There was the reading of the minutes from last years banquet, and Pat brought everyone up to date as far as operations and finances were concerned. All this on the heels of a sobering developement...the resignation of Kevin Atnip as Chair. Kevin O'Dell will be stepping forward for his turn in the seat, as we say goodbye to Kevin Atnip after many years. SOARESSS attendees were Mr. and Mrs. Goodson, Mr. and Mrs. Dunn, Kevin Atnip, Kevin O'Dell and his girlfriend, Roland Stolfa and daughter, and yours truly. A good time was had by all. ~B~
